Founder’s Story: The Philosophy Behind Roomsium

“Not louder. Not bigger. Just remembered.”

1. So… what is Roomsium really? No product words. Just essence.

When I wanted to build Roomsium, selling shampoo or towels — that wasn’t the goal. That part came later. The real idea was: whatever Roomsium offers — a product, a service, anything — it should be made with care. With real intention.

Something done with passion. With respect for the people on the other end. I wanted people who come across Roomsium — whether they buy something or just see it once — to walk away thinking, "I’m glad I found this." Not because it shouted at them, but because it felt right.

2. What made you start it? Like… what pushed you to do this?

After almost 25 years of working in human-focused professions, I’ve come to believe one thing very strongly: everyone is different — and the best thing you can do is respect that. Accept who they are. Try to understand. Try to adapt.

For me, Roomsium became a kind of bridge. A way to connect with people again — not by speaking loudly, but by showing care through what I create. It’s my way of having a conversation… even in silence.

3. Your tagline says, “Make it memorable.” Where did that come from?

I wanted to walk with “Make it memorable” because, as you can probably tell from what I just said — Roomsium isn’t really about selling products.

What it’s trying to do is make people feel something. To leave them with a memory — even if it’s small, even if it’s quiet.

Whether they use something from Roomsium, or just come across it once — I want them to remember it. Not because it was big or loud, but because it meant something.

4. What do you want someone to feel when they land on the Roomsium site?

First of all, I want them to feel in peace.

But honestly, the most important part of this whole journey — is that they never regret coming to the site.

Whether they buy something or not, whether they stay long or just a moment — I want them to feel like, “Yeah… this was worth my time.”

That’s it. No pressure. Just presence.

5. What isn’t Roomsium? What are you actively rejecting?

Roomsium is not a lie. It’s not here to sell you something cheap, unreliable, or unethical.

It’s not just a product brand. Not just shampoo. Not just towels. Not anything like that.

Roomsium is a word I give to people — and I don’t give up on my word. If I say Roomsium stands for something, I mean it. That’s not marketing. That’s personal.

6. If Roomsium were a physical place — what would it be like?

A quiet room in golden light. A door left open. Linen curtain moving just a little.

No background music. Just real sound — wind, maybe birds. That kind of thing.

It would feel like arriving somewhere you didn’t know you missed.

7. You talk about designing for memory, not product visibility. What does that actually mean?

I don’t design for attention. I design for recall.

If someone sees something and doesn’t remember it later, it doesn’t matter. But if they remember how it made them feel — that means something stayed.

That’s how I think about Roomsium.

8. Do you think of Roomsium as a brand? Or something else?

I don’t really care what people call it.

To me, it’s more like a mindset. A way of doing things with attention, with care. It could be a platform, a philosophy, or just a quiet standard. Whatever it is — I just want it to feel real.

9. What keeps you going? Especially on the hard days.

Because I know the world needs something quieter. Even if most people don’t know they need it yet.

This whole thing was never about trends. It’s just about trying to do something that feels honest. And that keeps me going.

10. If Roomsium disappeared tomorrow, what would you want people to remember?

If even one guest, or one follower — or just one random person — says, “Hey… what a nice thing this is,” then that’s enough.

Because that means we touched something. Even for a second. We reached an emotion.

And that’s all I ever wanted Roomsium to do.
